I’m not even mad, though.  I was so convinced the Mariners would be swept this series, winning 1 of 3 feels like a tremendous achievement.

Anyone wonder why we’re so wrapped up in the Mariners making the Wild Card, when it’s the Yankees we’ve got to look forward to?  Seems to me we’re just destined to keep losing to this team in the playoffs.

I didn’t watch very much of the last two games, as they both started at 10am and I had other shit to do.  Looks like I didn’t miss much.  The M’s are now 5-4 on this road trip, with the final three games in Baltimore starting tonight.  We’re still right there, 1.5 games out, tied with the Angels, half game up on the Orioles, full game up on the Royals, game and a half up on the Rangers and Rays.  Big series everyone!
